WRECKING BALLThe Sound of Tennessee and Texas.
The sound of Nashville and Tennessee. A real band for real honky tonkers.
Inspired by cracking nights spent in Nashville honky tonks, and fronted by two times British Country Music Award winning singer, Mark Hills, Wrecking Ball have fast become one of the most sought after Country Rock bands on the UK circuit.
The boys bring to the UK some good old stomping bar room rock – southern USA style, filling the void for an exploding younger country music audience hungry for music inspired by artists like Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, Eric Church, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley and more.
‘Is that Country? I didn’t know country music was this good’ has become the overwhelming response to a Wrecking Ball performance for audiences new to the modern country scene – and whether you love the tight harmonies, the rocking riffs or the catchy lyrics, or even the occasional “country classic” thrown into the mix for good measure, you’ll be hard pressed not to find yourself finding something to love in a Wrecking Ball set.
Although based in the South West, the band regularly play at venues across the UK – venues including Scotland’s home of country music, Glasgow’s Grand Ole Opry.
