Palooka 5 play 1960s tinged ‘sci-fi surf music’, think B52s with a ‘bad vibrations’ modern twist. Signed to the ‘Spinout Nuggets’ record label their last two LPs have received spins from BBC Radio 6 Music Djs Gideon Coe & Tom Robinson, plus tons of USA airplay on SIRUS XM from Drew Carey and Little Stevens (yes im’ from The Sopranos!) Underground Garage Show. ‘Spinout Nuggets’ release their third LP ‘Alien Grace’ this summer – with their last two LPs achieving ‘four and 5 star’ reviews in and ‘Vi La Rock’ and ‘Shindig’ Magazines. They are also the brains behind the wackiest club night in the South West ‘Club Kongo Presents’. Palooka 5 tick all the boxes for that curl shootin’ shape throwing surf hoodang in space you’ve always dreamed of!
