CLEMENTINES LIVE ARTSThe lifechanging power of creativity
Jackie Clementines is a performance artist, workshop facilitator, fire choreographer, youth worker, writer, activist and clown. In his time off he is just a clown!
He says: “when I grow up I want to be an actor, playing a clown, impersonating a talented performance artisté!”
Clementines Live Arts is a production company directed by Jackie. They are responsible for producing all of Jackie’s solo shows as well as a number of larger scale collaborations.
Producing narrative-led, high-impact circus theatre – they integrate breathtaking tricks into family theatre as seamlessly as singing into musicals. They tell original stories with heartwarming morals set to multi-instrumental live scores.
Originally an Outdoor Arts company their work has been presented at events such as Somerfest (Fuse Outdoor Arts), Hereford River Carnival, Coventry City of Culture, Taunton Live and Shambala Festival.
Their first move indoors saw them present their work on rural touring schemes including Take Art, Arts Alive, Arts Out West and Black Country Touring.
In 2022 they were supported by Arts Council England and The Brewhouse (Taunton) to redevelop their outdoor show Ernie’s Journey and take it on their first national indoor Theatre tour.
