Supporting Local Businesses, Groups & Enterprises – Online Mini Conference & Discussion
- October 26, 2022
- 10AM-11.30AM
- Online via Microsoft Teams
A free online conference and discussion around interventions that support local businesses, community groups and social enterprises to thrive, innovate and grow. What support does your organisation need and what does that support look like? Plus, a chance to add your opinions to help mould a cultural strategy for Somerset.
Introduction
Running a creative practice is more than producing goods and services. It requires practitioners and organisations to market and sell their products and services and that is where business skills are needed.
Demand for marketing and communication, digital and financial skills are just some that research is showing what businesses need but what do you need? Would business advice be the way forward or is it a simple group workshop? What are the challenges for you and what support do you need?
Do you find support adequate or do you have fresh ideas to help bring support to your area? As a community group do you struggle with certain elements of your organisation or as a business you need to learn how to become more commercial and sell more product and service?
This mini conference and discussion are designed to look at this issue and ask you as the participant about your thoughts, ideas, observations and future needs to help address your own business or group needs and how we can help advocate your needs and issues to other organisations.
Who is it For
