ARTMUSICCreating and producing collaborative, participatory and site-specific art
Based in Frome, Somerset, Artmusic was formed in 1999, by composer Helen Ottaway and arts administrator Steve Ehrlicher, to promote and produce collaborative work between artists from different disciplines and to foster relationships between the arts and other spheres. The organisation continues to build a repertoire of installation and performance pieces and is committed to exploring new environments and addressing new audiences in the presentation of its work.
Commissions include; LISTEN Season of Sound Art, Frome, Cork 2005 European Capital of Culture, The National Review of Live Art, Salisbury Festival, Wadhurst Culture, Nottinghamshire County Council and Oerol Festival in The Netherlands.
Artmusic’s repertoire includes installations, concerts, soundscapes, video, exhibitions and outdoor art with work made for diverse sites including galleries, churches, tunnels, disused quarries and remote woodlands.
Selected works are available for booking and Artmusic welcomes commissions for new projects.
