SOMERSET CRAFTSSomerset Crafts is an exciting and unique Arts & Crafts Centre in the heart of Somerset, celebrating the work of Somerset's most talented artist makers
Somerset Crafts are a group of dedicated professional Somerset artists and craftspeople who have turned a vision into reality.
Having established a close working relationship with Natural England who own the site, the group set up Somerset Crafts which is an Arts & Crafts Gallery situated at the Avalon Marshes Centre, within walking distance of Shapwick Heath NNR.
Shapwick Heath is one of Britain’s most valued National Nature Reserves and a special jewel in Somerset’s crown. The rent that we pay to Natural England supports them in their valuable work.
Our large and airy Gallery, which is run on a rota basis by the members themselves, displays and sells unique, original hand-crafted items of exceptional quality – all produced by Somerset Crafts members. Items for sale include ceramics, glass, stone sculpture and leatherwork, painting, jewellery, textiles, wood, photography and handmade soaps.
There is parking and a café on the site, and there are also toilet amenities.
Our opening times are 10am to 5pm, seven days a week.
