About This Event
Hold on tight, we’re going in deep! This lively presentation explores the often misunderstood subject of Branding – what it is, how it works and why mastering it is essential for all creative business owners in today’s competitive marketplace.
We also examine the impact of branding on our lives – the individual, society and our environment – before exploring an alternative way of viewing our businesses and how we promote them.
This event is hosted by Becky Wright, director of New Leaf Life Design and Creative Economy Coaching in collaboration with Andrew Knutt and Richard Holt, directors of Creative Innovation Centre CIC.
In detail:
This is an energetic and deeply authentic presentation, delivered from a design perspective by graphic designer, Barnaby Adams (Cuckooo Design Studio). His truly unique and creative approach makes this complex subject digestible and easy to understand.
He shows insight and provides useful strategies to take back into the business world. However, having built it up, Barnaby then critiques his own subject.
Professional suicide? Maybe – except for some beautiful and personal self-reflection that gives light to a total change in perspective on the world around us, our place in the universe and this crazy adventure of life that we’re all experiencing. And the result….? A new approach to how we brand our businesses, what they stand for, the tribe that invest in them and the legacy they create.
Who’s it for:
This is essential viewing for all business owners, or anyone thinking of starting-up. It specifically caters for businesses that want to grow.
Attendee benefits:
Attendees are guaranteed a engaging and thought-provoking evening and will leave with the knowledge they need to start the branding process. “I wish I’d seen this presentation before I employed my graphic designer!”

Contact us at Somerset Arts Business Cultural Alliance to submit a business inquiry.
I have been involved in many of SABCA’s events and cannot think of a better organisation to support the arts and culture sector in Somerset. It goes from strength to strength. The vast knowledge and business support that I have seen practiced in both digital and physical environments are second to none. It is one of the most essential sector support groups in Somerset as we have a lot of arts, culture and creativity here and I support all their work now and in the future.
